Withering.

"And all at once the Withering began. Without warning the fetid discoloration of each golden petal was complete. The once bright tones that warmed to the sun were now facing the cold earth below. Staring at what soon would become their ending. Sunflowers, lost in the Withering, without the sun to guide them home."
